Terri will lead the fun-filled Festival of the Vine Ride beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8th. The ride will begin at the Kane County Government Center, 20 miles on paved trails at a B/C pace (10-14 mph avg.). After the ride, we will reconvene at the Flavor Fare, at the corner of 4th and State Streets in downtown Geneva. We will savor the flavors of Geneva’s autumn harvest celebration and enjoy some great music by Gregory Hyde, a Chicago-based singer/songwriter who crafts inventive, bombastic songs riddled with nuances of pop hits, blues and classic rock from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For anyone who wishes to stay later, the Hiline Band will be playing Motown and dance tunes from the ‘70’s and ‘80's from 8 to 10 p.m. Please bring money for food and drinks. Feel free to meet us for the social time and to enjoy the delicious offerings from local restaurants at the festival at 6 p.m. if you are not able to ride with us. WEATHER LOGISTICS Please text Terri at (630) 205-9156 if you plan to ride. As you all know, weather has been a challenge lately and this year as a whole. A Go/No-Go decision will be made at noon on the day of the ride. If you text and the ride is cancelled; you will get a message. THX for your help in advance!
