Bike & Brew - Advanced 16+mph
Planned after-work road ride from Harter Middle School toward Bristol Township on a 35 mile loop. There is a water stop at mile 17.
This is a NO DROP ride. While it is likely that cyclists will separate into separate groups during the ride, there will be a sweep for slower riders (must be able to maintain a minimum 16 MPH average). You must be comfortable with a fast pace, climbing and riding in pacelines (as allowed). Everyone needs to have the ride course on their GPS/phone and/or a printout of map and cue sheet.
Route
Normally we would try to take maximum advantage of the Summer Solstice daylight hours. Due to the high heat forecast, we are backing off a little on the potential maximum mileage. The forecast also predicts initial winds from the South and then changing from the North. To be determined if this gamble of heading Northwest at the start pays off. Fingers crossed. :-)

Rear lights mandatory. Front lights strongly recommended as daylight will likely be low by the time everyone returns. High visibility apparel also recommended.
Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan post-ride meal and rehydration at Crosstown Pub & Bar - Batavia
